Evening Prayer – 15 November 2020

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a long and exhausting day

Emotionally exhausting as we watch the COVID-19 numbers skyrocket

Emotionally exhausting as more and more friends and family are hit

Lord, not only do we pray for them

We pray for a world that just doesn’t get it

Help us to love our neighbor and protect each other

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
