Evening Prayer – 3 November 2020

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of worship preparation and planning

A time of fellowship over Zoom with my seminary classmates

An evening spent with my sweetheart and our puppy

Yes, there is a lot on my mind and heart

Yes, there are groans too deep for words

So tonight Lord, I offer it up to you

Give us rest tonight and renewed energy for tomorrow

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
