Evening Prayer – 25 June 2020
The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
It has been a long and full day, Lord
Cleaning, packing, preparing our home
There was some time for reflection
Mostly it was incredibly busy
Help us to take the time, Lord
Time to slow down and Be Still
The night is late and my eyelids grow heavy
So I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace

Wait. Packing?
Yep, packing. I have taken a new call in Carrollton, Georgia beginning September 1st. After four plus years of trying to control my sleep apnea (which has steadily gotten worse) my pulmonologist said I have to move below 4,000’ elevation.
