Evening Prayer – 30 March 2020

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long and exhausting day, Lord

Filled with Zoom meetings, Worship and Worship preparation

Emails and phone conversathins

Now, as we fall exhausted into bed

I don’t know what to pray

Yet even my deepest sighs are heard and understood

To you, Lord, I lift the prayers of my heart

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
