Evening Prayer – 22 December 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As we make final preparations for our family’s arrival

As my sweetheart continues preparations

I ask this humble prayer for all who travel this Christmas season

May their flights not be delayed

May the flights be smooth and uneventful

May the time with family be a blessing

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
