Evening Prayer – 6 November 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Thank you Lord, for this ministry

Thank you for the co-laborers I share this ministry with

As one parishioner is released from Hospital

I pray for another who is in Hospice Care

Thank you for your presence in the Valley of the Shadows

I also pray for the family who will soon lay their beloved to rest

Ashes to Ashes and Dust to Dust

Yet even at the grave we say

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

I thank you for friends who are family

For an evening of fellowship, music, laughter, and love

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
