Evening Prayer – 24 October 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a long day of travel

Yet also a wonderful day of family

Connecting with so many friends

Connecting with those who love my folks

Connecting with those who miss Mom

A beautiful yet bittersweet time

For this gift I thank you, Lord

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
