Evening Prayer – 5 October 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A wonderful day of worship, prayer, study, and fellowship

Sharing stories and sharing dreams

At the same time praying for dear friends

A friend who is once more walking through the Valley of the Shadows

A friend and her family battling a resurgence of cancer

As we prepare for tomorrow’s worship

As we prepare for the Lord’s Supper

Help us to make the Table larger, Lord

May there be room for ALL of your children

Yet now, after a long drive up the mountain

As my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
