Evening Prayer – 30 September 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of worship preparation

A day for reflection and study

An evening walk with my love

A night of reading and simply being still

For these pauses that refresh and restore

I thank you, gracious Lord

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
