Evening Prayer – 28 September 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day spent speaking learning about peace and justice

A time for reflection and challenge

As we returned home to the crowds

As we sympathized with our Elk neighbors

These two Bull Elk were escaping the crowds

Simply time to graze and Be Still

Help us to do the same in the midst of the madness

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
