Evening Prayer – 27 September 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a long but good day, Lord

A time of prayer and reflection

As we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

A time to mourn and celebrate the life of a dear parishioner

A time to weep and a time to dance

A time to cry and a time to laugh

In all of this, you are present with us Lord

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
