Evening Prayer – 20 September 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been an interesting day, Lord

Time with friends

Time for fellowship

Time for reflection

Yet as I hear the drumbeat of yet another war beginning

As I have a sad sense of Deja Vu

For this world I pray

For your peace to descend I pray

For humanity to be more important than money for the few I pray

In the midst of it all

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
