Evening Prayer – 6 September 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A wonderful time with my Sweetheart’s classmates

A time of laughter, memories, and more laughter

As we also consider those of our number who have departed too soon

As we consider their family and friends

Those who have walked through the Valley of the Shadows

Help us Lord, to hold them in our hearts

And now, as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
