Evening Prayer – 1 August 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Thank you Lord, for counselors and friends

Thank you Lord, for walking with us

You have called me to serve

Often in difficult circumstances

Yet you have sent companions on the journey

Be with and bless my dear partner in life and ministry

Bless the time she has with her father

Bless my own father in his difficult journey

Bless two dear friends as they travel and honor their Dad

Lord, for all of these gifts and opportunities I thank you

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
