Evening Prayer – 30 July 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

When you don’t know what to say

When the words for prayer fail

When you feel a bit overwhelmed

It is then that the Spirit intercedes

Thank you Lord, for hearing our heart

Thank you for your constant presence

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
