Evening Prayer – 13 July 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As we walked through the Valley of the Shadows

As we gathered to share stories and faith

As we sought your Spirit’s presence, Lord

You were indeed with us

Tonight to spend time with a dear friend

To enjoy music and fellowship

What a blessing for this evening

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
