Evening Prayer – 12 July 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It was a day of reflection

It was a day of appointments

It was a time to be with my sweetheart

It was a time to enjoy wonderful music

It was a time with very dear friends

Thank you, Lord, for these blessings

Especially as I will once more walk through the Valley of the Shadows

For these times of renewal, thank you

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
