The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Even as we walked through the Valley of the Shadows

You were present with us, Lord

In a meeting planning for another funeral

You were present with us, Lord

An evening walk and wonderful music

Time with dear friends and your creation

For these opportunities and gifts we thank you

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
