Evening Prayer – 5 July 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A wonderful morning and early afternoon with Dad

It is always hard to say goodbye

But we are thankful for the time together

This evening after a grueling drive in a rainstorm

To spend the evening with a very dear friend

To walk around the City and soak in the sights

Now, as the evening draws to a close

As my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
