Evening Prayer – 26 June 2019
The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
When stress hits your body full-on
When systems shut down
Lord, thank you for rest and respite
Lord, thank you for a loving partner
Who nurses and cares for her beloved
Now as my eyelids grow heavy
I lift this humble prayer to you
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
