Evening Prayer – 8 June 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It was a day of laughter

It was a day of reflection

It was a day to simply Be Still

It was a day to Breathe

As I prepared for Pentecost Sunday

My wish

My hope

My prayer

Is that the Spirit will blow mightily

That lives will be challenged and shaped

That we will move outside of our comfort zones

That we will allow Her to move freely in our lives

That we will break down barriers

That we will be your people, O God

That we will share your love

Your Mercy

Your Justice

That we will walk Humbly with you

That we will create a bigger Table

That we will be welcoming and inviting

That we will be instruments of your peace

Lord, on this eve of Pentecost, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
