Evening Prayer – 1 June 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A Sabbath day of rest

A time to simply Be Still

A time to enjoy with my sweetheart

A birthday celebration with dear friends

Time spent in the midst of your Creation

Time to sit with our Marmot friend

To smile and enjoy this gift of presence

Now, as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
