The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Once again we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

Once more gun violence hits close to home

At times, it is so incredibly overwhelming, Lord

How you must weep over your creation

At times like this, Lord

Lead us beside still waters

Restore our soul

Encourage us to be instruments of your peace

Lord, in your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
