Evening Prayer – 29 April 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Once again we walk through the Valley of the Shadows

Once again, your children cry out to you, Lord

In the midst of sorrow, anger, grief, tears…

Let the light of your love and compassion shine

Catch the tears as they fall from our eyes

Mend the hearts as they are breaking

Comfort and hold your children, Lord

And may we be instruments of your peace to others

Lord, in your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
