The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

In the midst of Holy Week reflections

In the midst of funeral preparation

In the midst of meetings and discussions

In the midst of heartbreak in Paris

In the midst of it all

You were present, Lord

I needed to be reminded of your presence

This young yearling reminded me

Stop

Pause

Be Still

Be

Now as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
