Evening Prayer – 3 April 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

What a wonderful day and evening, Lord

You call us to make a difference in our community

You call us to make a difference in the world

Even with small strides we can do just that

With words of hope and encouragement

With words of challenge and support

Then to spend some time with a dear friend

To break bread

To laugh and share stories

To share hopes and dreams

To encourage each other

For the varieties of gifts shared this day

I give you thanks

Now, as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
