Evening Prayer – 23 February 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a long weekend, Lord

Yet it has been a weekend filled with your Spirit

As we walked with our Elders and Deacons

As we shared stories of our Presbyterian heritage

As we studied our Confessional Heritage

As we saw your Spirit challenging and renewing

As we shared our own faith journeys with each other

We felt the presence of your Spirit

Now, as my eyelids grow heavy

As I ponder tomorrow’s worship

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
