Evening Prayer – 21 February 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a long day of preparation

Tomorrow we begin our leadership retreat

All the hours of prayer and days of preparation

All the hours of study and growth

The capstone of the Certificate in Christian Spiritual Formation

You have guided us through the process

For the Spirit’s guidance and inspiration we are thankful

Now we pray, grant us a restful night

And energy for the weekend

For us as we lead

For the Elders and Deacons as they gather

Lord, in your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
