Evening Prayer – 18 February 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As the day draws to a close

A day filled with work and preparation for our Retreat

As we prepared, we prayed for our Deacons and Elders

We prayed for the church in our community

We pray as well for the witness of the church in the world

Where there is hatred, may we sow love

Where there is injury, may we bring healing

Where there is division, may we bridge builders

In all things, Lord, may we be instruments of your peace

To you, O Lord, I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
