The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a wonderful day with family and friends

It has also been a difficult day in the Valley of the Shadows

As my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this simple and humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
