Evening Prayer – 15 January 2019

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long day of travel

Yet also a wonderful time of fellowship

Thankful for safe arrival

Thankful for those who sadly work without pay

Thankful for their great spirits

Thankful for a night’s lodging and peace

Now, as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you, Lord

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
