The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

On this Lord’s Day we remember

The call to love, to serve, to simply be

Tonight we watched It’s a Wonderful Life

Despite all the darkness that surrounds us

Despite the hatred and greed

Despite all of the negativity

The Spirit calls us to be different

The Spirit calls us to love

Despite the darkness, Lord, your light shines

In your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
