Evening Prayer – 15 November 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A full day of medical appointments

A full day of simply enjoying my Dad

A time of remembering the events of a year ago

A time of enjoying the quiet with my sweetie

Playing Dominoes and laughing

As we prepare to begin our homeward journey

We ask for your Spirit’s presence

Circle each of us, Lord

For our Dads who continue to walk through the Valley of the Shadows

For my Sweetie and for me as we walk with each other and our Dads

For all of the heartfelt silent prayers

In your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
