Evening Prayer – 14 November 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

What a day, Lord

Early morning rising

Wipe the sleep from our eyes

A morning of flying and driving

Tender and poignant moments with my Dad

Time spent just being with him

Time spent helping with simple errands

Walking together through the Valley of the Shadows

Time spent with dear friends

Time spent in reflection and prayer

Time spent simply being still in Your presence

Now as our eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
