Evening Prayer – 28 October 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

It has been a wonderful Lord’s day

My beloved partner in life and faith shared the Word with our congregation

This Padre was in the congregation in a supportive role

An afternoon of rest and refreshment

An evening of fun and fellowship in support of those in need

Yet I also remember those who suffer because of hatred

I remember those who suffer because of greed

Let me walk with my Sisters and Brothers and stand in the breach

Let your love… let my love shine in the darkness

As my eyelids grow heavy, I lift this prayer to you, O Lord

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
