Evening Prayer – 23 October 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

Another long and exhausting day of ministry

Lord, what a privilege it is to walk with your children

What a privilege it is to be invited into sacred space

For miracles of your creation

For the miracle of lives being saved

For the miracle of your loving presence

For all these things I give you thanks

As my eyelids grow heavy

As I reflect on this day

In your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
