Evening Prayer – 22 October 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

What a day, Lord

After some frustration and concern

To be able to spend some time with our neighbors

Followed by Communion with dear parishioners

Hospital calls to follow and many prayers

Lord, the ups and downs can be quite overwhelming

Yet, as I ponder the two Bull Elks dueling

I think of the wrestling we all experience in this life

In the midst of it all, Lord, you are present

To support

To comfort

To encourage

To guide

As my eyelids grow heavy, I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
