Evening Prayer – 14 October 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

After a full morning of worship

After a full Harvest Festival

Arriving back home to simply be

Some home repairs completed

Then time to be still

Lord, in the midst of the hectic schedule

In the midst of so much going on

Thank you for this time of respite

As my eyelids grow heavy

I lift this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
