The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As we wrap our hearts around so much

As we contemplate life and the world and this nation

As we seek a way forward

As we seek the way of peace

As we seek the way of mercy

As we seek the way of justice

As we seek to be your instruments

As we remember the Poverello

On his feast day we pray

Lord, make us instruments of your Peace

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
