Evening Prayer – 24 September 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long and draining day, Lord

As the deer longs for flowing streams

So my soul longs for you, O God

The words of the Psalmist came to my heart

We celebrated Communion today, Lord

Each time we break the bread and share the cup, you are with us

Lord, come to us

May your Spirit bring peace and refreshment

When we don’t know what to pray

Speak to our hearts and listen to our cry

Lord, in your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
