Evening Prayer – 14 September 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

An incredibly long week

An incredibly long day of appointments

On the road to Fort Collins and Cheyenne

Also a time of study, prayer, and reflection

So much going on in our lives

So much going on in the lives of our family

So much going on in the lives of parishioners

Lord, when our heads begin to spin

When our hearts are overwhelmed

You always provide what we need

Tonight it was the music of two dear friends

It was time spent with other friends

It was a time to laugh, smile, and simply be

Thank you for that precious gift

Now, as my eyelids grow heavy

I lift to you this humble and heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
