Evening Prayer – 13 September 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of meetings and funeral planning

A day of phone calls and prayer

A day of Hospice Ministry and love

Time walking with dear ones through the Valley of the Shadows

An evening of pleasant surprises–friends from home

An evening of reading and reflection

And now, time for rest before the morrow

As a final act, I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
