Evening Prayer – 3 September 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A day of study, rest, and reflection

A time to simply be still and know

A time to reflect on all who work

All whom this day is supposed to honor

Be with those who watch or work or weep this night

Be with those who walk through the Valley of the Shadows

Be with those who live in places where violence is ever-present

Lord, in your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
