Ruminations: a summer of reflecting

When I last posted, I put forth an examination of conscience.

Very heavy, I know.

You may be wondering where my fashion posts have gone?

They are coming friends.

Today, just a bit about reflections.

This past week I had the opportunity to attend a workshop entitled, “The Pastors Toolbox.” This was fascinating on so many levels.

I was the lone woman in the learner group, and the only lay person as well. We were blessed to have several other women on the presenting/governing team, however.

My experience was that about two thirds of the priests and transitional deacons (the soon to be ordained men) had never heard or come into contact with a lay parish director.
