Evening Prayer – 13 August 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long day of traveling

An afternoon and evening of relaxing

Pixie is home and all is right in her world

Yet evidence of the fires out west surrounds us

As I think of all those who are impacted

As I think about those who are fighting the fires

May those who watch or work or weep this night find your Peace

In your mercy, I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
