Evening Prayer – 11 July 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

What a day, Lord

Meetings and planning and deliberations

In the midst of it all, I remembered

While we are busy with church work

You also call us to do the work of the church

Help us to be your Hands and Feet

You call us to be your voice in this world

Your voice of Love

Your voice of Justice

Your voice of mercy

Help us, Lord, not to get caught up in the busyness

Help us, Lord, to follow your lead

To do Justice

To love Kindness and Mercy

To walk Humbly with You

To love you with all that we are

To love ALL of our neighbors

In your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
