Evening Prayer – 1 July 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A busy Lord’s Day of worship

A time to share the voice of the Prophets

A time to share the hope of Christ

A time to challenge corruption and greed

A time to challenge complacency

Also a time to recharge empty batteries

Time with my sweetheart and our puppy

Time to simply be still and know

Thank you, Lord, for the challenges of this day

Thank you, Lord, for your call to serve

In your mercy, hear this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
