The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As the business of the PC(USA) General Assembly continues

The hour is late and the work is complex

Lord, may your Spirit flow over the Assembly

Keep hearts focused and spirits calm

Give energy for the task ahead

In all things, may we work with a spirit of love and compassion

In your mercy, Lord, hear this humble prayer

For us and for all of your children

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
