Evening Prayer – 17 June 2018

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A good day of worship and fellowship

Time spent in conversation, laughter, and prayer

Time spent connecting with friends and co-workers

Time also spent in meetings and deliberations

Time being your Church at #GA223 of the Presbyterian Church (USA)

As we wind down and prepare for sleep

Lord, give us a restful night

Prepare our hearts and spirits for the work tomorrow

May your church in this place listen

May we hear your Spirit’s call

As we march for Justice

As we speak against Hatred

May we live and show your Love

May we show the world your way of Peace

In your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
