Pay Attention – Jeff Blake

Reflecting on bird watching, my dear friend Jeff Blake wrote the following words which are in his book, A Year on Grace Street: Daily Signposts:

“I do not know precisely what Jesus meant when he said ‘Consider the birds of the air.’ I think he meant ‘Pay attention. Pay attention to what is around you.’ I think he meant ‘Look up. Look up.'”

Dear Jeff, we looked up tonight and saw a beautiful cloud formation… we looked up and saw the amazing palate of God, the Master Artist. Thank you for encouraging us to look up! I miss you more than words can fully express my precious brother ❤️❤️
